Plan

Introduction

In order to achieve our aim, we need a plan. The ReformUK.org plan is, in essence, to have a sufficient number of Independent RerformUK.org MPs in the House of Commons to be able to legislate in accordance with our aim. Depending on the level of support from the electoral population, this would either be directly, or by first holding a referendum. ReformUK.org MPs will be single-policy MPs, with 100 % focus on achieving the ReformUK.org Aim.

ReformUK.org uses constituency colour coding to set targets and track progress. The three colours are red, amber, and green. (Further information on colour-coding is further down this page, and also on the "Metrics" page of this website.) The current status of all constituencies is red. When constituencies are amber or green, ReformUK.org will put candidates forward, in those constituencies, for election.

The flowchart below, when read in conjunction with the annotations that follow it, gives a more detailed description of our plan. Passing through a coloured arrow turns the constituency that arrow's colour.

Annotations

All but the "FINISH" shape are referenced below. They are sorted in the order in which they will/are most likely to occur. The Constituency Spoilt-ballot-paper Percentage (CSP), Parliament Mandate Percentage (PMP), and the Constituency Vote Share (CVS) are defined on the "Metrics" page of this website.

The flowchart starts at the constituency level, and can be started at any point in time.

Has the ReformUK.org aim been achieved, as defined on the 'Aim' page of this website?

Was a ReformUK.org candidate elected in this constituency at the last general election/by-election for this constituency (whichever was more recent)? If so, their name is listed on the "MPs" page of this website.

Did a ReformUK.org candidate contest this constituency's seat at the last general election/by-election for this constituency (whichever was more recent)? If so, their name is listed on the "Candidates" page of this website.

For this constituency, from the result of the last general election/by-election for this constituency (whichever was more recent), was the Constituency Spoilt-ballot-paper Percentage (CSP) at least 10 %?

In this constituency, at the next general election/by-election for this constituency (whichever will take place sooner), the electoral population should cast their ballot papers spoilt.

After receiving the results of the general election/by-election in the last step, is ReformUK.org's Parliament Mandate Percentage (PMP) greater than 50 %?

ReformUK.org pushes to achieve its aim by first securing the mandate to do so by means of a referendum. The referendum that ReformUK.org pushes for is one for which a simple-majority result (greater than 50 %) will be legally binding.

For this constituency, was ReformUK.org's Constituency Vote Share (CVS) at the last general election/by-election for this constituency (whichever was more recent) at least 10 %?

In this constituency, at the next general election/by-election for this constituency (whichever will take place sooner), vote for the ReformUK.org candidate, as listed on the "Candidates" page of this website.

ReformUK.org pushes to achieve its aim using the mandate that it has. In all likelihood, ReformUK.org will have at least 326 MPs in the House of Commons, forming a simple majority. In this case, the flow-chart shape that is referred to here would be labelled "Achieve aim."
